Content creation - it’s the latest buzzword in the wedding industry! A content creator is someone who you hire to get photos and videos on an iPhone during your wedding day and to edit short-form videos. We're excited to offer content creation at ACG Productions, offering iPhone footage, as well as camcorder footage for people who like a vintage or nostalgic feel. As a couple who got married recently, we did not hire a content creator, but I really wish I would have. If you're in the planning process, here are some reasons why you might consider hiring one:
It's a great add-on to traditional videography. A wedding videographer is going to get all of the big, important moments on your day. It's going to look and sound professional, and you'll get a beautiful video that recaps your entire day. However, a content creator can be there to get more of the "behind the scenes" action during the day. They will get other angles and scenes that your videographer or photographer might mess. They're just another set of eyes and ears! They can also assist you with making fun TikToks or shoot with other social media in mind.
It's a quicker turnaround. A traditional wedding videographer will take anywhere from a month and up to a year to get you your full wedding video. (At ACG, our turn around time is one month!) With content creation, you typically get all of your footage back in 24 hours (that's what you can expect from ACG!). You can start to relive your day immediately!
It's really fun. The footage you'll get is fun, authentic, candid, and nostalgic to look back on. At ACG, we offer camcorder footage, which is great for the couple that loves a home-video, vintage feel. These elements are just a super fun way to relive your wedding day!
It can be cost-effective. If you don't think you have it in your budget to hire a videographer, a content creator might be a good replacement. You won't get that professional video and audio, but you'll still have amazing footage of your day. We truly believe - sometimes the best camera is the one you have!
